To mark our 150th anniversary we have set up Ludlow New Voices, a choir for young people aged 9 and upwards, which will offer fresh musical and social opportunities for children in the area and add to the cultural life of the town. Ludlow New Voices is for all young people, including those who have never considered choral singing before. Because we want everyone to be able to come, the fees are quite low and we try to help overcome any transport problems.

The choir has currently over 80 members. Rehearsals take place every week in term time and the choir sings all kinds of music from around the world. A number of performances and day workshops are organised through the year. The choir contributes to the Ludlow Family Christmas Concert and will be joining Ludlow Choral Society in the first performance of Patrick Larley’s new work In Praise of Music on 27th June 2009.
