Ludlow Choral Society currently has around 70 members. We are currently seeking new members of all voices, particularly tenor. Any initial approach should be to the Membership secretary, whose details are shown below. There is no audition involved, but all members may be give voice placement tests from time to time to help maintain the balance of the choir and to ensure they are in the most appropriate section.
Currently rehearsals are being held on Tuesday evenings for an hour via Zoom and are working very well. It keeps our voices fit and, as we are not working towards a concert, allows us to look at music that we might otherwise not have had the opportunity to explore.
In normal times rehearsals are held in the Methodist Church , Broad Street, Ludlow from 7:30pm to 9:30pm on Tuesday evenings from the beginning of September to sometime in July.
As we perform in three major concerts each year, rehearsals move quite quickly and it is important that choir members are prepared to devote extra time to learning the works away from weekly rehearsals.
Annual membership fees for 2019 were £153 or 3 times £51 by postdated cheque. This includes one ticket for each of the three major concerts.
During this time of great uncertainty 2020/2021 membership fees are being paid termly.

Join the Friends
If you can't be a singing member, why not support us by becoming a Friend?
Friends pay a modest subscription, currently £12 (or £18 for a couple), which entitles them to advance notice of all concerts and social events. At concerts they have reserved seats.
Our Friends often help in the running of our concerts or by assisting with stewarding or staging .
They are also able to join the Society's monthly 100 Club draw.
